Our Seniors got another chance to play, last weekend. :On' Friday afternoon they travelled to Barrie to take part in the. Golden Ball Tournament, which is a championship meet for the top high-school basket- bali teams from across On- tario. They went Friday and return- ed Sunday, had a lot of fun in between and represented Cen- tral well. It's the opinion of the players that the tournament was very well-run, the officiating was tops, and the billeting was ex- cellent. A complete report of the games is given by. Ed Milburn in another part of today's Times. After I read the two "I Hate Girls" articles in Teen-talk last week, I became very proud of myself. I figured they were right. Af- ter all, its obvious that us guys are the superior sex. I became very intolerant of girls and began to ignore them. Don't think this is easy. Girls may be kind of dumb sometimes, but I, for one, am very glad to put up with them. The "Cotillion" last Friday Was quite a success. The Queen of Central was chosen. She is Carol - Ann Haber, Runners-up were Marg Demoe and Jean Buchanan. The next big event coming up at Central is the carnival, on April 10. This project will take a bit-of work, but it will result in a lot of fun. All clubs and any other groups within Central should plan to operate a booth. You can have a lot of fun doing it and it gives you one last chance to make some money.
