TORONTO (CP)--A levelling: off process came into effect on Toronto and New York stock markets Wednesday fol- lowing 'Tuesday's unexpected rise. The Toronto industrial index dipped .05 at close of trading while the New York market slipped 2.52. Trading was ac- tive. Prices started to slip at the opening of trading in Toronto but regained some of the lost ground during the day. Several speculative issues which had suffered in last Friday's panic showed healthy advances.
