Mr. and Mrs. Hollingsworth were the recipients of many lovely gifts and cards, among the latter were those from Their Excellencies Governor General Vanier and Madame Vanier, Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson, and from Federal representative Russell C. Honey. Mr. Hollingsworth was born in Warsop, Nottinghamshire, England, and Mrs. Hollings- worth was born in Roose, near Hill. They were married in 1913 immediately after coming to Canada. Since then they have farmed in the Crooked Creek and Cowanville area until their, retirement to Orono in 1961.
