Mrs. Bowen is the former Elizabeth Lacey of York, Eng- land, She and Mr. Bowen were married in 1013 in Port Hope. The couple came to Oshawa in 1917 when. Mr, Bowen began working at General Motors, He retired in 1962 after 45 years of service. Mr. and Mrs, Bowen are members of First Baptist Church. They received numer. ous telegrams, greeting cards, gifts and flowers, They have four daughters: Mrs. Wilbur Kingston (Helen), Mrs. Allan Imeson (Dorothy), Mrs, Wallace Bruce (Norma), and Mrs. Ronald MacGregor (Joan).
