Cow prices were under pres- sure. Bull prices were generally unchanged and_ replacement cattle were in a narrow demand on an increased supply. Veal calf prices were lower. Hog prices were lower and lamb prices were lower. Cattle receipts were esti- mated at about 7,800 head, about 400 head more than last week and 1,000 head more than the same week in 1962. Western cat. tle receipts were up 214 head over last week. Included in the Western receipts were some choice slaughter steers. Three loads of cattle were shipped East and there were no exports off the market to the United States.
