As this was election night, Mrs. Garrison turned the meet- ing over to the election commit- tee with past president, Mrs. Douglas Lowe, presiding. Cam- paign speeches were made by each of the nominees, Results of the elections were as follows: Mrs. George Rus- sell was re-elected an honorary member; past president, Mrs. Gordon Garrison; president, Mrs. Morley Robinson; 1st vice- president, Mrs. Donald Cullen; 2nd vice-president, Mrs. Donald Lake; secretary, Mrs. Lloyd Pigdem; registrar, Mrs. Archie Hubert; treasurer, Mrs. Don- ald Fleming; bulletin editor, Mrs. Paul Pautler; directors, Mrs. Hans Haagmans, Mrs. Ronald Wilson, Mrs. David Mc- Cann, Mrs. George Thomas and Mrs. Bruce Caverly. Installation of officers will take place at the first general meeting in September. Business reports were pre- sented by the various commit- tee chairmen: Mrs. Morley Robinson report- ed 27 Oshawa Kinettes attended the Inter-Club dinner held in Cobourg. Mrs. Arthur Stone advised that the children from the Chil- dren's Aid Society shelter en- joyed a recent visit to the Bowmanville Zoo followed 'by | -pefreshments. Mrs. Peter Melch reported on final arrangements for the Strawberry Bridge to be held | Wednesday, June 19, at the | Kinsmen Community Centre. A party for the residents of Hillsdale Manor was held fe- cently.
