The Reverend H. A. Mellow eaid grace and Mrs, G. R. Jarvie acted as mistress of ceremonies and proposed a toast to the Queen. The banquet was served by the United Church Women under the convenership of Mrs. G, Jack. Seated at the head table and introduced by Mrs. Jarvie were the Reverend and Mrs, H. A. Mellow, Mrs. J. L. Bird, Com- missioner for the Rossland Dis- trict; Miss Audrey Lambert, Lieutenant; Mrs, H. T. Hor- rocks, Captain; Mrs. G. R. Jarvie, president of the parent committee; Janet Jarnic, Mar- erite Keel, Mrs. W. R. Keel, rown Owl; Lynn Keel, Nan-|Hurst. Both these guides re- ette Kirby, Mrs, Orval Kirby,|-- Each of the candidates follow- ing a trail of golden footprints, stopping at designated inter- vals to answer questions on nature, health, highway safety and semaphore.
