JOSEPH WARD TROTTER Seriously sick for the past month Joseph Ward Trotter, 474 Cunningham avenue, Oshawa, died at the Oshawa General Hospital this morning. He was in his 84th year. Born at Clydesdale, Ont., Oct. 16, 1879, the deceased was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Trot- ter. A resident of Oshawa for 43 years he came here from Trenton. He was an employee of General Motors prior to his retirement in 1944, Mr. Trotter was a life mem- ber of the Bancroft Masonic Lodge and a member of Branch 43, Royal Canadian Legion. Dur- ing the First World War he served with the 116th Battalion. Predeceased by his wife, the former Annie Huffman, on Dec. 3, 1948, Mr. Trotter is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Norman Ward (Virgie), of Oshawa and a son, Dale Trotter, of London, Ont. He was predeceased by a daughier, Mrs. H. Ward (Ethel), on May 10, 1932, Also surviving are three grandchildren. The memorial service will be held at the Armstrong Funeral Home at 2 p.m., Monday, March 4, Interment will be in Mount Lawn Cemetery. Rev. L. W. Herbert, minister of King Street United Church, will conduct the service. ROBERT CHARLES WILSON Funeral services for the late Robert Charles Wilson, age 34, were held at 2.30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, in the Wooster School Chapel in Danbury, Conn., U.S.A. The Rev. Dr. John D Verdery, headmaster, officiated, Mr. Wilson, a mathematics in- structor, football and tennis coach, at the Wooster School, died Friday evening, Feb, 22, at the Danbury Hospital. : He was born in Brooklyn, New York, May 26, 1928, son of Mr, and Mrs, A. Wilson of Oyster Bay, Long Island. Mr. Wilson had been an in- structor at Wooster School for the past 11 years. In June of this year he received a special cita- tion for completing. 10 years' service at the school from its board of trustees, He was a graduate of St. yohn's College, Annapolis, Md., and received hie Masters' da.
