Al Brown, Ricky MacLean and Gary Shmyr accounted for the Pirates' goals. The Cubs' goals were scored by Bud Depew and Greg Hutchison, The Tigers defeated the Fly- gh 3-2 to move into fourth place the standings. Terry Flintoff, Paul Meadows and Lee Lemon were the Tigers' goai-scorers. Don Taylor and Doug. Harness accounted for the Flyers' two goals.
