The idea that the three wise men who brought gifts to the. infant Jesus might have something for the Christian of today was brought out in the varying in- tangible gifts that were given then. LONG-TERM RESIDENCE Mr. and Mrs. Young began their married life by farming at Green River then market. gardening at Markham, coming to Oshawa 45 years ago when Mr. Young started to work at General Motors where he was employed for 36 years, retiring about ten years ago. The couple recall spending their honeymoon at The Walker House in Toronto, and driving back to the station in a phaeton drawn by a pair of dapple grey horses. They travelled by train to Strathroy. The train was wrecked at the next station; killing their travelling compan- ions, who were also bride and bridegroom. Mr. and Mrs. Young have two daughters, Mrs. R. H.
