Than City Sisters VANCOUVER (CP) -- Mrs. James Haggerty of the farming area of Napanee, Ont., believes the country woman has decided advantages over her city sister. Mrs. Haggerty, president of the Federated Women's Insti- tutes of Canada, was inter- viewed here en route to the 10th triennial conference of the Associated Country Women of the World in Melbourne. The country woman--'we're all the same"--has '"'just about as many labor-saving gadgets" as the city woman. "But she doesn't have the has more to do with her time. "T think country women have more incentive to keep busy in their kitchens and gardens as well as in community affairs." Since the end of the Second World War the organization has maintained information centres in Ceylon, Korea and Rhodesia.
