THE OSHAWA TIMES, Tuesdey, November 6, 1962 27 UAWA Ladies' Auxiliary No. 27 Celebrates Silver Anniversary The Ladies Auxiliary No. 27, UAW, this year celebrated its ih anniversary. There were 13 25-year members present. These Members are still active and each received a ring. The Auxiliary' was organized in the hungry 30's and has worked steadfastly to improve the lot of their fellow members and to shoulder responsibility in Many municipal and- civic un- dertakings. The aims and objects of the Auxiliary are to educate the women of the automotive work- ers to the principles and ideals of trade unionism. Simcoe H&S Presents Awards At Grade 8 Banquet South Simcoe Home and School 1961-62 held a Grade 8 banquet at which class pictures and gift certificates were awarded ot the top students and eresis were presented io the safety patrols.
