50-50 Club Has Led Way For Doubles In United Church The 53050 Club of Simcoe Street United Church has great- ly strengthened the work done by this church in Oshawa, and beyond. Combining the warmth of fellowship and the challenge of worthy goals of endeavor, this group has actively contrib- uted time, talents and money to many worthwhile causes, Their annual Minstrel Show and Turkey Supper have be- come special events in many homes, yet the monies real- ized from each goes to strength- en the work of the church both at home and abroad. But -this is. not to suggest. that all the activities are hard work. Social evenings, square dancing, bowling, trips to in- teresting places of historical and cultural importance find their rightful place in~ the club's crowded schedule of events.
