Waring Ford's Income Reported Up This Year OAKVILLE, Ont, (CP)--Ford Motor Company of Canada Ltd. had consolidated net income in the six months ended June 30 of $20,100,000 or $12.15 a share, compared with $8,200,000 and $4.95 in the same period last year; The earnings fpr the period are the highest in the company's history. The previous record first-half earnings were $15,300,- 000 in 1959. Sales were $329,000,000 com- pared with $266,000,000 in the corresponding period of 1961. Net income from Canadian operations was $13,100,000 com- pared with $5,600,000 and from overseas operations $7,000,000 compared with $2,600,000.
