Campbell SPORTS EDITOR 'Everything From Soup To Nuits' UPShTs featured the Kiwanis Bantam League OASA elimination playoff series last night, with Nipigon Purk boys winning a 10-6 verdict right on the Storie Park diamond and North Oshawa upsetting Connaught Park boys 6-4 at Con- naught, It's unusual when a minor-age team wins away-from- home but the current Kiwanis Bantam League playoffs would suggest that a real upset might happen. Connaught was un- defeated through their schedule and favored to walk into the OASA playoffs, with only Storie Park as formidable opposi- tion. With return games scheduled for Monday night, anything could happen now. The survivors of. the semi-final will meet early in August, to decide the local City OASA honors but right now, it looks as if anybody can win it. Second games in the respective series play this Monday night, at Nipigon Park and at North Oshawa. In the Midget league, semi-final rounds get under way on Monday evening, at Sunnyside Park and at Woodview Park.
