Reports were received from various committees, among which were: the Benevolent convener, Jessie Robertson, re garding the catering to a re cent wedding reception; Ways and Means announced that draw tickets were selling favor- ably and asked all members te hand in the proceeds and un- sold tickets before next meet- ing. The Sick and Sunshine con- vener, Emnia Cook, reported that the list to be remembered was much shorter than usual. Congratulations to Past Pa- tron Elgin and Jeannette Hutch- inson who celebrated their 25th Silver anniversary recent: 'jand are also the proud grand- parents of three. A presentation of a wedding gift was made by the Worthy Matron Doris Nottingham te Worthy Patron Leonard Col- bear and his wife, on behalf of the members of Blue Ray Chap- ter. _The secretary, Mangaret Carnegie, reported on the cater- ing to the Masonic Ladies' Night and announced that the net proceeds amounted to over $148. The proceeds from the banquet convened by Associate Matron Emma Cook amounted to $74.67. The Dessert Luncheon which Was convened by the Worthy Matron, Doris Nottingham, was a huge success. About 56 members and friends patron. ized this social event. Out-of- town guests were present from Raglan, Prince Albert, Clate mont and Markham. The net proceeds amounted to $40.30 and will be donated to. Cancer Research which is the project this year for the Worthy Grand Matron, Norma Eastwood. The Estarl convener, Satab Kight, gave her report for the committee and announced that $30.63 had been raised for thie project, making a grand total of $50 raised since the begin- ing Of the fall seassions. The trustees were given au- thorization to procure a type- writer for the convenience of the secretary and members of the chapter. Margaret Carnegie, PM, announced that the com- mittee in charge of kitchen supplies, had purchased a quan- tity of dishes and silver toe complete the sets required. The business session was rather lengthy.
