CLEVELAND MYERS, Within the last year, several mothers have informed me that they write letters to their chil- dren who are at home. Mrs. Charley M. Albert, 1365 Helena Street, Jacksonville 8, Florida, related such interest- ing experiences of hers at writ- ing letters to her children, four, six and nine, that I asked her for permission to use her name and address to pass along some things she said about this en- terprise. She granted me per. mission. In answer to some questions I asked her, she replied: "Do I mail them? No. The first letters are written in the back of each child's baby book. When we look at the books we end up reading the letters in the back. "What do I write about? Any- thing and everything. Some of them just say 'I love you'. In others I have listed the ques- tions they asked, or their de- scription of things, such as, at 3% David -- now nine -- de- scribed lightning as 'light com- ing out of the sky and breaking honeymooning and will prob- ably make their home. --Astor Studio, Bowmanville.
