Dance School _ Recital Held At Port Perry By MRS. CHAS. H. REESOR™ PORT PERRY -- The Jean Bright School of Dancing stag: ed its annual mass recital the Port Perry Public School auditorium recently. This pro- duction included pupils from Blackstock, Seagrave, Ux- bridge and Port Perry classes. The auditorium was decorat- ed for the occasion with spring flowers and was filled with rel- atives and friends. The performers ranged in age from four years to the late teens. The guest artist from Toronto, Ron Kopas, who is Miss Bright's instructor, has won many laurels among which is the Senior Canadian National Championship and the Military March Championship. Among the other guests were Danny Reesor of Toronto, who acted as master of cere monies and also rendered sev- eral vocal solos to the accom- paniment of Miss Lillian Couves, of Toronto; Master Gene Hurst, of Seagrave, ac- companied by Mrs. Sandison of Utica, sang a delightful num- ber and gave an example of the Twist; and a piano duet by Lori and Janet Turner.
