Members and guests of the St. John The Evangelist Mix- ed Bowling League closed their season with a very enjoyapic; banquet which was held at St. John's parish hall. Following the grace and toast to the Queen by Rev. Father L. J. Austin, Frank Canzi, the president, introduced the head table and welcomed the guests. Following the dinner, Frank Canzi thanked the members of the CWL for the delicious din- ner. Trophies and gifts were presented to the winning teams and individual winners. Seven members had pertect attendance and were presented with a gift and these were: L. Bronishewski, B. Robinson, M. Hughes, E. Bedard, L. Bedard, H. Forbes and T. Hughes. Rev. Father Coates presented gifts and the winners were tiie Hawks with Captain B. Hazel- ton and teammates M. Carter, P. McDaniel, T. Lesage and Father Coates. Trophies were presented to the play-off winners by Rev. Father Coates and the winners were the Sparrows with Cap- tain T. Hughes and team mates B. Goverde, M. McDaniel, C. Hendriks and J.
