Olympic Medalist To Compete In U.S. By PETER FRASER Press Correspondent MINNEAPOLIS (CP) -- Dr. George Genereux, a Canadian mame respected by the best trapshooters in North America, will not be among the competi- tors in the Canadian champion- ships this year. Instead the sharpshooter and Olympic gold medalist plans to # compete in the United States. @ The 27-year-old doctor from Saskatoon said in an interview that it may be 1965 before he again enters the Canadian com- petition. He started a three-year specialist course in radiology last January at the University of Minnesota Hospital. He explained it would be difficult to take time off from studies to defend his Canadian titles. The 1962 Canadian Trap- shooting Association's finals will be held in Edmonton July 6-9. However, Genereux said, he intends to enter the Minnesota State Shoot at Blooming Prairie July 12-15.
