(CP) -- A member of the Renfrew public school board said Tuesday the board can prove that the On- tario department of education should be held responsible for the $80,000 restitution it has ordered the Renfrew board to make. S. M. Chown said, "we have enough evidence now to break the issue wide open at Queen's Park." But he said this evi- dence would be presented only to a royal commission investig- ation which the board is seek- ing. The education department has ordered the school board to pay back the $80,000 which, the provincial government says, was embezzled by a supervising principal.
