LODGES AND SOCIETIES QUEEN MARY LODGE The regular meeting of Queen Mary Lodge No. 97 was he: ce- cently in the Orange Temple with Worthy Mistress, Sister Dorothy Phillips, presiding as- sisted by Deputy Mistress, Sis- ter June Goodman. Prayers were read by Sister Edith Severs in the absence of the Chaplain. Flags were pre- sented by Sisters Margaret Phil- lips and Nettie Fenton. The initiation of Sister Kath- leen Alldread took place. The sick report was given. Re- ported sick were Sisters Eleanor Mitchell, Margaret Martin and Ina Milgate. Prizes were donated by Sisters Annie Toms and Marie Blake and were won by Sisters Martha Smith and Theresa Cleveland. The next meeting is on Sep- tember 20, and all Sisters were asked to attend to finalize plans for the trip to the O'Keefe Cen- tre and the visit of Lady Russell regular meeting in the Oddfel- lows Hall with Sister Gladys Blyth, president, presiding, as- sisted by Sister Alice Lanning, vice-president. Sister Blyth welcomed the members back from summer holidays. The meeting opened with prayer, roll call and read- ing of minutes.
