The plane brought apprehen- sion and excitement to this east. ern Iowa city of 34,000 persons for about an hour as it banked steeply over the downtown and residential areas. It got away from Doren Bumgardner, 29, a member of the Burlington Civil Air Patrol squadron, as he was preparing to start it by twirling the propellor.
