A total of nine plays will be |presented at the festival to be |held in Orono September 28, 29, 130. Among others, entries are expected from Whitby, Bowman- ville and Peterborough. The winner will compete in the On- {tario One Act Play Festival, sponsored by the Central Ontario Drama League, to be held at Hart House, University of To- ronto, Oct. 9. Mrs. A. Heath, director of the Oshawa entry, said she has com- pleted casting and is now con- ducting rehearsals at Rotary Hall on Centre street. This is the first time Mrs. Heath has been director for the Oshawa group. She has acted in three of their plays, however, and has directed in England.
