About 10 per cent of manual workers em- ployed by the council are non- unionists. The joint consultative committee for manual workers had reported that the presence of non-union workers caused re. sentment among union mem- bers, but the council took no action. NEED MATH TEACHERS LONDON -- Britain's univer- ence to discuss ways of meet- ing the shortage of mathemat- ics teachers in schools.
