In the education- al field four deserving high school students received prizes at com- mencement exercises and two university students received bur- saries totalling $400. A picture of Queen Elizabeth II was present- ed to the new Vincent Massey school and IODE calendars were presented to several public schools in the district. The chap- ter's adopted school at McKar- row was given a new flag. Sports equipment was sent to the Geor- gina Island adopted school, and both schools received gifts of books, mittens and candy at Christmas.
