Index losses: Industrials 2.89 at 401.82; golds 42 at 87.17; base metals 1.74 at 158.50; and west- ern oils .31 at 94.51 The volume was 1,848,000 shares, heavier than Tuesday's | 1,733,000 TG. 'Bright took the biggest | industrial drop, going down 3% at 42. Eddy Paper A and Canadian Wallpaper A each lost 2% at 56 and 29. Toronto General Trust was down 2% at 41 and Royal Bank lost 1% at 71.
