In the fall of fifty-eight it celebrated its fiftieth birthday im the church at Tyrone, with Mrs. Loveys of the Dominion Board as guest speaker. Mrs. Fisher of Newcastle brought greetings from the Presbytery. Guests were present from New- castle, Trinity and St. Paul's Bowmanville, Salem, Hampton, Enniskillen, Haydon, Sault, as well as the wicinity of Tyrone, Mrs. Sidney Hoar, daughter of a charter member (Mrs. Horatio Hills) cut the Birthday Cake. Mrs. R. Hodgson, Hampton, Mrs. R. Wright, Mrs. Hoar and Mrs. A. Hills, all past presidents, pour- ed tea. The highlights of the year 58 were: The Easter Thank Offering held in the church, with Mrs. Romeril of Blackstock as guest speaker. The June Tea held at the home of Mrs. R.
