Palm- er and Mrs. Avern Taylor for their energy and enthusiasm. McLaughlin H&S Is One Year Old Adelaide McLaughlin Home and School Association was organized in December, 1958, and now has over 100 - members. We held a card night in Feb- ruary, 1959, which was a great success. With the proceeds we equipped the kitchen, purchased school sweaters for . the safety patrol boys, provided dinner and class pictures for the graduating class and sent four delegates to the convention in Toronto. We also purchased material and made the school banner. At our .| June meéting we held an auction and the proceeds of $55.00 were donated to the Retarded Child- ren's Fund.
