Here in Oshawa, the members raise funds for missionaries, provide Christian literature for distribution in hosptals, and for donations for worthy causes such as the cancer fund, etc., and to help make a better world for people in our own country. Handicrafts are taught, such as sewing, knitting, embroidery, and how to make flowers, and any- thing that is of interest to women. Our sick members also are re- membered with a visit and flow- ers. We meet every Tuesday after- noon in the Salvation Army citadel, where we enjoy a period of chorus singing, followed by a devotional period that is different each week. We use our own local Cerebral Palsy Association, and sometimes we enjoy a film. One week we had an apron fashion parade, where aprons over 100 years old were modelled as well as modern aprons and children's aprons and aprons from other countries.
