16th Gr. Committee Has Grown Strong The 16th Group Committee of the Girl Guide Association held fits first meeting at St. Matthew's Anglican Church -on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 1956, with Mrs. D. E. Jackson, presiding. Mrs. Jackson with the permission of the Cen- tral District C Commissioner, Mrs. J. W. McLean, organized the Group Committee and conducted the election, of officers. There were 13 members present. Stars for Guides, Brownies and leaders; Material for Guide Teas; Christ- mas favprs for Guides, Brownies and leaders. Company and Brownie Pack for equipment. Donated te the Brownie Fair, Secured testers for Guide and Brownie Testing. Supplied cars for Cookie Day. Held 'a Mother and Daughter banquet at which 108 attended.
