Campbell SPORTS EDITOR LAST NIGHT was a very happy one for Oshawa's two major baseball teams, Here at Kinsmen Stadium, the Motor City "Motors" knocked off St. Thomas Efgins 9-3, thanks to a nifty, well-paced pitching performance by Cec Hall and a lot of very heavy hitting by the entire Oshawa team. The big do here Saturday night at the Stadium should draw a banner crowd. "Moose" Matthews has lined up quite a crowd of "Qld Timers" for this affair. Five hits, including doubles by Leveille and Ted O'Connor plus a walk to Colvin, gave Oshawa four more runs in the third. Two hits and an error gave them an- other in the fourth. George Bra- bin's double scored O'Connor from 1st in the 7th and in the 8th, after Reg Petrie had taken over the mound for St. Thomas, Oshawa added their final run, after two out. Roy Lefevre drew a walk and Colvin's hard smash to centre took a bad hop past the fielder and went for a triple, Lefevre scoring easily.
