BLAIR It's official now! The OHA sub-committee approved the Eastern Senior Hockey league's vote to advance to Senior "A company next season, in a friendly meeting held in Peterborough Thursday night. It also means that the OHA now has two Senior "A" groups to be known as the Eastern Senior ""A", and Western Senior "A" leagues. Belleville remained firm on their decision to stay Senior "B' next season, with the league giving full consent to accept the Bay of Quinte club into the new group, as a Senior "'B' entry if they wish. Belleville would not compete in the league play-offs, but would get a bye to the Ontario Senior "B" semi-finals. Clubs set to play "A" are the Cornwall Colts, Orillia Pontiacs, Whitby Dunlops, and the new Kingston club, to be called the Kingston L'mestones. Final entry dale remained at the original July 18th, and it's expected that the league might receive am application from the Pembroke Lumber Kings by that date. If so, that would round out a six-team c.rcuit with the Montreal Junior Canadiens also play- ing a couple of games with each team.
