SOCIAL EVENING Six of the members of Easter Rebekah Lodge of Pickering were hostesses to the members of Easter Rebekah Lodge and their hus- bands and the members of Ontario Lodge IOOF, Pickering, and their wives on Thursday, March 31. Sister Nancy Culley, Noble Grand of Easter Rebekah Lodge, wel- comed the guests. Each person on arrival had their name pinned on them and were given a piece of paper with a guessing contest on it, which kept them busy while the rest were gathering. The answer to each question being the name of a flower. Sister Ruby Andrew of Ajax was the win- ner and received a lovely African Violet for her effort. Kuchre was enjoyed by all and the prize for the person having the last lone hand went to Bro. Don Andrew of Ajax. The prize for that was a six pound chicken. 2 Bro.
