Mrs. Al- fred Fisher gave a brief explana- tion on verse 30, of the read. Everyone joined in the re- peating of the Lord's Prayer. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. The re- ports of the visiting committee were given. Mrs. Alfred Fisher offered her home for the May meeting, which will be the usual plant exchange. Secret Order To Be Dropped OTTAWA (CP)--A secret order- in-council' of the federal cabinet, dealing with national security, will be allowed to expire with the end of the Emergency Powers Act on May 31. Prime Minister St. Laurent gav this information to the Commons Friday under questioning on the government's legislative program for the remainder of the parlia- mentary session. The order, contents of which never have been disclosed, was passed by cabinet about two years ago under the emergency powers grament in the interests of secur- ity. In passing the order, the cabinet also gave itself power to refrain from making its nature public.
