This was a real thriller all the way but unfortunately, the girls were a little late in getting start- ed and the game had to be called at the end 6f the 8th inning, when this extra frame failed to produce a winner. Each team scored two runs in the 8th. Rundle Park, having lost the first game, were on the brink of elimination when they went into the 7th inning trailing 11°6 but they staged a thrilling 5-run rally to tie ning. He was first batter of that half of the inning, which provided a great climax to the close series. Field Aviation broke the 0-0 deadlock in the 'top of the fifth inning when Higgins walked and Rogers doubled to score Higgins. Coulters came right back to tie it uu in their half of the same inning when Wilson singled with two out and scored on a passed ball and a solid hit by Johnny Wyatt. E.
