The- appointment, effective Sept. 15, was announced Thursday night by Rev. A. H. O'Neil, general sec- retary of the British and Foreign Bible Society in Canada. Mr. Billingsley succeeds Canon J. S. Harrington, who served the society for 30 years before his re- tirement in April.
