Queens Helpe QUEEN MARY I was the first queen of England and the daughter of Henry VIII. Half QUEEN ELIZABETH I was another daughter of Henry VIII who succeeded Mary I. The QUEEN MARY II (1688-94) was dual reign of William and daughter of Anne Bolavn. his second wife, she had long reign (1558-1603). Mary, unique in history of Great Britain. Spanish and Catholic in her religion, she sought to renew Roman ties. ® 10:30 a.m.--Combined Religious Service at St. George's Church by the Oshawa Min- isterial Association. ® 7:00 p.m.--Monster Street Parade ! Parade will assemble and leave Alexandra Park at 7 p.m., and will proceed down Simcoe Street to Memorial Park. Comprising the parade will be the On- tario Reg't. (Tank) with 4 Sherman tanks, the Ontario Regiment Association, Navy Cadets, Army Cadets, Air Force Cadets, Salvation Army, Canadian Legion, Oshawa and Bowmanville branches; Polish Veterans, Air Force Assoc., Can. Corp Assoc., Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, Fire Department, 29th Squadron R.C.E.M.E., fifteen Decorated Floats, and BANDS, Bands, Bands. Salute will be taken at the Library by Lt.-Col. Graham Coulter, 0.C., Ont. Regt., and W. J. Naylor, Mayor of the City of Oshawa. Planes from the Oshawa Airport will cover the parade. Veterans will wear medals and decorations.
