John Greenwood was in Toronto last Monday having treatments on his arm at Sunnybrook Hospital. Mr, and Mrs. Wm, Steele were in Port Perry last Tuesday having dinner with Mr. Steele's aunt, Mrs. Dave Steele. . Mrs, Tony Kudlak returned home from Oshawa General Hospital on Tuesday. Several from this district attend- ed the opening of Port Perry's Community Memorial Hospital. It was an impressive ceremony. It is hoped that enough nurses will soon be available. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Corner and Evelyn of Columbus were visiting Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Steele last Wed- from her fall and is able to be up and about the house again after being confined to bed for a couple of weeks. We were sorry to hear that Mrs. Harry Edgerton of Port Perry, a former resident of Cedar Creek, was rushed to Oshawa General Hospital on Sunday for an emer- gency operation. Her former neigh- bors wish her a speedy recovery. Mr, and Mrs. Gordon Corner and Evelyn of Columbus were Sunday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. win.
