GIVE FINAL REPORT The final report for 1961 on the building of Fairview Lodge, was given to County Council this week. It indicated that the final cost may be about $825,000 or some $25,000 less than anticipated, Outside work and landscaping will be done early next year. As for the old building, to be vacated at the beginning of next week, it has been sold to Dr. J, O, Ruddy and ownership is to be trans- ferred to another group but full announcement of its operation as a private hospital is expected in Janu- ary. This your newspaper, use it. be- Obituary MURRAY PARISE A resident of Whitby for the past 40 years, Murray Parise, 100 Chest- nut treet, died in Toronto General Hospital early yesterday morning. He was in his 57th year. For the past two months, he had suffered a severe illness. Born in Italy, Mr. Parise came to Canada at the age of seven. He was an employee of the Ontario Malleable Iron ggnd Brass Com- pany of Whitby. His parents prede- creased him some years ago. Sur viving is his wife, the former Caro- line Gammon; two sons, Carl of Whitby and Frank of Toronto and one brother Louis in Toronto. Mr, Parise is resting at the W. C. Town and Sons Funeral Home. Requiem Mass will be sung at the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Whitby, by Rev. D. V. Hickey on Monday morning at nine o'clock. Interemnt will be at the mausole- um in Union Cemetery.
