The King's Guineas award, es- tablished by King Edward VII when Prince of Wales will be pre- sented to the contest's winner by the Governor-General at the Roy- al Horse Show on Nov. 19. In ad- dition the event's winner will be awarded the Hon. T. L. Kennedy Challenge Trophy. This year judging.of the Guineas \ event, along with the grand cham- pion steer class, will be moved to the fair's large arena on the af- ternoon of Nov. 19. Since all steers entered in the King's Guineas class at the Royal had to win championships in their respective clubs before qualifying, each entry receives a $20 prize. Later, the steers are sold at the fair's auction, where they of- ten bring record" prices. Last year's winner, 16-year-old Alex McIntosh, of Guelph, Ont., sold his steer for $1,600. Entered will be Shorthorn, Aberdeen Angus and Hereford steers. when friends drop in: Tonight Hon. Leslie M. Frost Ksn, George H. Doucett Hon. Harold R. Scott Hon. George H. Challies Hetcher S.
