Ontario Senior Baseball Games A traffic jam in the Intercounty senior baseball league has the players talking to themselves and is giving scorers their biggest headache in years. The league standing can change overnight, and usually does. Last night, Waterloo Tigers snapped their six - game losing streak by downing the Kitchener Legionnaires 8-6 and bounced over the Kitchener squad into third place. Brantford Red Sox maintained the only stability in the gathering by dumping the St. Thomas Legion squad 8-5 to end the Legion's four- game surge from last place. The win solidified Brantford"s position in first place with a 6%-game lead over London Majors. At London, rain helped the Guelph Maple Leafs hold their Sox beat out 14 hits to settle the St. Thomas uprising. The Legion squad added to the evening's en- tertainment by committing four errors. Their pitcher, Len Dube, | was thrown out of the ball park by a police escort when he slugged the first base umpire for a call at the bag. Other Ontario 'baseball games saw Kingston lose to Belleville Red men 86 in the central Ontario senior league. Up north, Copper Cliff Redmen eased past Garson Greyhounds 1-0 in Nickel Belt senior play and Con- iston Red Sox scored seven runs in the bottom of the ninth to de- feat Creighton Indians 10-9.
