Danzey The marriage of Mary Visniar and Glen Gew'ge Danzey was sol- emnized on Saturday afternoon at College Hill Pentecostal Tabernacle. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Visniar, of Oshawa, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. Frank J. Danzey, of Oshawa, and the late Mrs. Danzey. Mixed spring flowers formed the background for the ceremony per- formed by the Rev. E. F. Danzey, | brother of the bridegroom. Miss Dorothy Morris played the wedding music with Mr, Lewis Griffin as soloist. The bride, who was given in mar- riage by her father, was gowned in traditional white satin designed by Mrs. Norman Vaters, sister of the bridegroom. A Peter Pan collar over a lace yoke and long pointed sleeves featured the fitted bodice and the skirt was draped in front to reveal an underskirf of Chantilly lace. A coronet of pearls held her shoulder- length veil of embroidered net and she carried a cascade of roses and carnations with long white satin streamers. Her jewellery was a sin- gle strand of pearls, the gift of the bridegroom. Miss Mary Toma was maid-of- honor wearing Nile green taffeta and carrying a nosegay of pink car- nations. She wore rhinestone ear- rings and clips. The bridesmaids were Miss Irene Visniar, sister of the bride, in pink taffeta, and Miss Joy Danzey, of Peterborqugh, sister of the bridegroom, in pihk muslin. Mauve carnations comprised their corsages. Aids Local Shelter The ,Golden Jubilee Chapter of the I.O.D.E. is in receipt of a letter from Miss Margaret Hancock, of the Children's Aid Society, thank- ing them for a recent donation of clothing. The members were reminded of the bazaar which is being held tomorrow. Mrs. J. B. Tane Takes Third Term as Head Of King Street H&S Mrs. J. B. Tane was re-elected president of the King Street Home and School Association at the last meeting of the current year held on Monday evening, Mrs. M. H. Moffat presented the slate of officers prepared by the nominating committee, and the following officers were unanimously elected: Vice-presidents, Mrs. J. G. Brough, Mrs. F. A. Getz; re- cording secretary, Mrs. A. D. Mor- rison; corresponding secretary, Mrs, G. B. Attersley; treasurer, Mrs. Morris Berg.
