Ogston, windsor Ave. was honored at' a! surprise party on Wednesday even- ing. About 34 friends ahd neigh- bors met at the home of Mr. and | Mrs. Wm. Phinney, Windsor Ave, and then proceeded to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Simpson, north of the stoplight. Games and en- | tertainment were participated in by all the guests. During the evening Mrs. Phinney presented Mrs. Ogs- | ton with a very lovely travelling | bag from all her friends. Mrs. Ogs- ton, taken completely by surprise | by the party was accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. Les. Trory. De- | licious refreshments were served by the hostesses after the presenta- | tion. : Mr. and Mrs, Ogston were resi- dents of Ajax for the past eight | years, and Mrs. Ogston will be | greatly missed, both as a friendly neighbor and for her work In church groups and other work. Mr. Ogston passed away following a short fllness earlier this year. Mr. and Mrs. Les. Trory, daughter and son-in-law, have buiit a new home at Alderwood and Mrs, Ogston will accompany them there at the end | of the month.
