A message of congratulation has been received from' His Majes- ty, King George. The veteran of the Northwest Rebellion still recalls the forced march through the wilderness from the head of the lakes to Fort Gar- ry, now Winnipeg, after going up the lakes by boat. Mr. Duvall can also recall when the first railroad between Montreal and Toronto was built in 1856. Twice married, Mr. Duvall is the father of 18 children, nine girls and an equal number of sons.
