The meeting opened with call to worship and singing the "B- I:B-L-E" and "Read Your Bible, Pray Every Day". The Mission Band Aim, Watchword and Pur- pose were repeated, Mrs, F. Beck- ett read the story, "The Flying Umbrella". Miss Gloria Wright and Miss Ruth Lamb sang a duet, "Master the Tempest is Raging", accompanied by Mrs. Beckett at the piano. We closed with the Mission Band Prayer. Mrs. Sey- mour led with some enjoyable games with Mrs. F. W. BROWN Correspondent Greenwood, Jan. 26--The After- noon Women's Association met at the home of Mrs. Elmo Disney -on Thursday of last week. The new president, Mrs. Ed. Pascoe was in the chair. Mrs. Milton Pegg was leader for the Worship service with the theme "Faith". Full reports of last years work was given showing the results of a busy year. Plans were made for the new year. After the meeting the hostess served a dainty lunch. Quite a number are suffering from colds including the public school teacher and some of the pu- pils. The annual congregation meeting was held in the church basement on Tuehday evening of last week. All reports were good and showed keen interest in the work of the church, Plans were started for some repair work to be done on the church building. After the meeting a social hour was enjoyed. The Rarm Forum group met on Monday evening at the home of Miss Edna Green. There was a good turn out and a lively discussion followed the broadcast. Next Mon- day the meeting will be at the home of Irvine and Mrs. MacLean. Quite a number enjoyed skating at the Brooklin Arena on Saturday "Dance evening.
