A tree was blown across the road a short distance north of Mr. Harvey Cross- man's, making it necessary to de- tour, Another tall maple was blown across the road just south of Rich. ard J. Luke's gate. In both cases telephone communication and hy- dro connection ceased. The prompt action of the township in remov- ing the tree, and hydro and tele- phone companies for making neces- sary repairs, is appreciated. , Aev. G. W. Gardner will be tak- ing anniversary services at Udney, Brechin circuit, on Sunday, Oct. 17. Rev. W. F. Madden, Brechinn, will. be the speaker at Kedron next Sunday.
