'Kids" said Bombadier Percy Firth of Brantford, gazing reflec- tively at his 15-ton gun. "They've put this gun out of order. They're just like gremlins--get into places you'd never think possible." He had discovered that the pub- lic--especially children--loves to handle army equipment. These kids somehow got at Kids Have 'Disarmament' Figured Out Perfectly the tap which allowed the hydrau- lic fluid to escape. The result is, the gun had to be locked--she'd jam up on the recoil without oil." "Why some of those kids are smarter than the grown-ups," said Ben Klassen. "One 10-year-old came up and asked about the miss- ing dial sight on the 5.5. Said he guessed I aken it off because of the souvelr hunters. There usual- ly is one on a gun of this type, but I hadn't noticed it wasn't there. How on earth did he know that?" Try a Times-Gazette ad today -- You can be sure it will pay.
