Mr. Kerr comes from Camden East, near Napanee, and at an early date joined the staff of General Motors, commeénc= ing his moto# career in the stock room of the Parts Dept. He spent 15 ears in that corporation. During his time a$ General Motors he served in the general office, in the ma= terial control department, in the dealer claims office, mer~ chandising department and later was District Manager in the Sales Department. In 1941 Mr. Kerr transferred to the Maritimes as District Manager. In 1942 he accepted a posi~ tion. with Defence Industries of Montreal, at Ajax, as Assist. Superintendent of all construction materials. In January, 1946, Mr, Kerr joined the staff of Mills Motor Sales.
