Thrown From Car, Detectives Find Toronto, May 14--(CP)--Police said Np that George Albert Moore, killed 10 days ago in what web lled a "freak accident," was a passenger on a Toroato street car and not a pedestrian, as previously reported. Information gathered by Detec- tives Charles Peers and Fred Mil- ler showed that Moore, a taxi- driver formerly of Guelph, was standing in the vestibule of the streetcar and was thrown out the door when the tram hit an open switch. The end of the car was thrown around and struck a taxi. The cab was driven against a post and Moore was carried against the post and pinned there. The detectives said the statement received from the streetcar operator made no mention of Moore being a passenger. When police learned these details, bail for the streetcar motorman, charged with manslaughter, was withdrawn, He was bailed by a new bondsman, later, police said. ' LAST TWO DAYS!
